Benefit

As with Green Ways Barley, we benefit from the fact that the pressed juice does not contain coarse, insoluble fibre. It is also suitable for people on a residue-free diet, to whom it supplies often-lacking useful substances.

Organic cultivation ensures a high content of betanin, potassium, magnesium, and boron. The low drying temperature retains high quantities of vitamin B9 (folic acid) and betanin, which are susceptible to heat treatment.

In addition to vitamins (such as  B6 and B9) and minerals, Green Ways Beetroot is a rich source of polyphenol, resveratrol, and betanin. Betanin is a very valuable substance, a member of the betalain family, and impacts on liver cells with proven regenerative effect.

Preservation in the form of a gently-dried powder eliminates the two main disadvantages of storing whole beetroots. Stored beetroots are highly susceptible to storage rot, while the quantities of antioxidants decrease significantly with storage time.

Use

Recommended dosage

1 sachet (5 grams) 1 to 2 times a day for adults.

Mix the contents of the sachet in lukewarm or cool still water. We recommend 0.2 l per sachet. Use a shaker. Ideally, a small Green Ways shaker.  You can adjust the taste of the drink by using more or less water.

You can drink and eat Green Ways Beetroot on its own, or use it to make cocktails and smoothies, for example. It works particularly well in cold cuisine, where it retains its biologically-active substances. You can use it, for example, as natural colouring in the preparation of sweet dishes (colouring marzipan, icing, etc.).

Lumps may form in the sachet. This is a natural reaction to the presence of natural carbohydrates. This does not reduce the quality of the product. Shake the sachet before opening.
